Domaine du Breuil

the harvest at Domaine du Breuil
Historically, the harvest is done manually in Beaujolais.
Every year for the harvest, we have about thirty young men, mostly students, for a period of 15 days. The pickers are fed and housed in our shelter groups. Harvesting should be careful: only
mature grapes must be harvested.
The rule here is "we reap what we eat with
gluttony. "
Here is a slideshow showing you a few key moments of
2011 harvest.

Harvest at Domaine du Breuil

Historically in the Beaujolais, the grapes are harvested by hand.

Every year for the harvest, we employ about thirty young people, mostly students, for a period of 15 days. The pickers are fed and housed in our accomodation near our vineyard.

One must be careful to harvest : only mature grapes must be harvested. The rule here is "we only harvest what we would like to eat  greedly".
