Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau 2014 of Domaine du Breuil

The   Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2014 produced by Domaine du Breuil is grown on sandy soils, which gives a fruity and supple wine reaching full maturity for the third Thursday of November.

The Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2014 has a cherry red color. The nose has subtle aromas of red fruit, raspberries and cherries. On the palate the tannins are soft and fresh.

Did you know?

The Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau is harvested by hand unlike most of New Beaujolais. As a result, the grapes can be sorted by the pickers to improve quality while a machine can not do.

Tasting advice

  • Serve  Beaujolais Nouveau at a temperature between 14 and 15 ° C.
  • Uncork the bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau  one hour before serving, so it can vent all its perfumes.
  • Serve this wine with the traditional "cochonaille" or more refined with St. Jacques nuts.
  • Do you know "Communard" as an appetizer? a little creme of blackcurrant with a lot of Beaujolais Nouveau, delicious!
